This one broke its maiden at the free track last year but has stepped it up this year to be a solid consistent sort and capped it off with a game nose win today. His turf works have been improving nicely to this point and i can see him going on with it in this type of long distance race on the grass.

2nd Trouble Brewing Mb Stables Hill C

Tried really hard to win three in a row but failed to catch the winner despite grinding all the way to the line. His two graded stakes efforts have come with two nose defeats so a win in this grade cannot be far away.

3rd Financial Peace First Class Stable Valdivia J Jr

Anther shooting for three in a row he decided to turn his running style upside down and came from behind for third. A good effort and he is certainly moving in the right direction.

4th Stormbringer John Henry Doyle S

Only beaten a length into fourth he continues to struggle to get his timing right.
