The Derby Trail never ends… somebody is running one, two three, every weekend… and we head out to IND for the IND Derby (GIII) a mile and a sixteenth test for the sophomores, and it’s another that I’ll just let The Green Card handle, from a handicapping perspective. 

The Card says to jump on Good Knights in this one…  and the gelding sure did look good when taking the Stephens (GI) at SAR last out, and you have to believe that another like that will take this group down.  He pressed the pace in the KYD (GI) before falling apart down the lane, but this is a distance that it looks like he can dominate, again. 

They put Derby Dreams in the second spot, that one fresh off of a win in the TX Derby at LS where he just wired that group, never looking back.  He certainly has speed, and that can be a dangerous weapon, especially over this surface, so look for a big run from this one.
