The Busher [KYO] |
$125.000 3yoF 1 1/16m Inner Dirt |
Sold for $100.000 after that neck victory v. N1X at TUP going a flat mile. So the new barn goes big-game hunting and straight to stakes company. She’s certainly going to get an acid test in this one, but you have to say something for a horse that’s never been worse than second.
Nice closing effort to be third in the Golden Rod (GII) at CD back in Nov, and that was on a wet surface. She’s been on the board in four of seven starts, and it’s nice to see a barn give a horse some time… to grow up. Now, is the pay-off today or is this the beginning of the come-back?
All of her wins have come via the NY-bred route, however she was second, although beaten four lengths, in the Frizette (GI). She also had a forgettable trip on BC day and I’m not tickled about the second place finish as the odds-on in that end of the year race at AQU. I guess we find out how she grew up
Never off the board in four starts, but she’s never seen the likes of these. Second in a WV-bred stakes at CT and third in an Alw race down in FL in her most recent effort. I like the one-mile blow out getting ready for today, but I’d have to think she will be double-digit odds here today.
Well she hasn’t been able to keep a home but she keeps running hard… which is probably why she’s been sold so much. Twice at the auction and once by private sale, she’s moved around quite a bit. Closed well to be fourth in the Silverbulletday and should like the extra distance. Give her a big look.
Never off of the board in six lifetime starts and got the 3yo season started with a nice win at the FG while facing Alw company. That was a damp track and at 6f, but she broke maiden at a distance and this may be something she’s into. I’ll have to look at some others but she wouldn’t surprise me either.
Just missed last out in the Busand over this surface, and she looks keyed-up to be ready for this one. She closed well to be beaten a length v. graded company before she ever broke her maiden, so the barn knows she’s good… and it’s a good barn.
Broke maiden last out while going a mile at SA, and that was only her second start. They know they have a good one here and are going right after black-type and I don’t blame them. She was spot-on in both of her starts and I have a feeling she’s going to be a nice horse.
Broke maiden for $10.000 claimer at HOU last out, got nabbed out of that one and the new barn is going into the deep end of the pool right off of the claim. I just can’t see her getting any part of this one.
Just the one win from eleven starts although she has been on the board in a few stakes starts. I can certainly see her getting on the board in this one but I don’t see her getting her picture taken.
Not much to talk about in that stakes start here last out, although she was only beaten two lengths that afternoon. Still, I think she will have to show a big improvement to get a check here today.
Nice closing effort here last out when third v. similar and if it were not for the post I think she would be hard to get past today. She does have some early lick and that may help overcome the bad post position. Either way, she has to get a big big look.
