1 Shes Beachy La Canada Racehorses Ferrer J C 120 —

She has looked pretty good in winning two from three but there is an important difference today and that is the draw. All her closing runs and both wins have come from wide draws where she has settled back and today, she has the stellar opposite draw on one which will make closing much harder. Will the race engine put her on the speed from the gate? or will she go back and get stuck in traffic? We won’t know until after they cross the line.

2 Line Of Flight D J C Racing Stables Franco M 120 —

As usual the random number generator has rather sharp, put the two stable runners next to each other which will have thrilled the trainer as they are in two and three. This one proved she is up to this with a game second in the Myrtlewood last time which was a great start for the owner that claimed him the race before after its third claiming race in a row. The works are very sharp, and she has the gate to win.

3 Baby Ruth D J C Racing Stables Geroux F 120 —

Two runs, one win both in the mud tell us very little about her ability but her works tell us more and she looks better than the filly that ran for a tag in both her starts. An each way chance from a great gate.

4 Deputy Doll First Flight Stable Alvarado J 120 —

Fell away on the turf last time but was better when taking her maiden on this surface although she looks on bare form at least a little out of her depth here.

5 Bronxbabesarebest Big Jd Racing Velazquez J R 120 —

Beaten a length or less in three stakes races in a row she certainly deserves a win in this grade and gets her chance today. She finished behind Line Of Flight in the Myrtlewood from a better draw so may find it tough to turn the tables on that filly.

6 Jamaican Coffee Night Rider Stables Davis D 120 —

Ran very well in the Seek The Ante but then failed to get the trip in the Alcibiades last time and reverts to sprinting today where I think she is better suited. Look out for early speed and a decent run.

7 Nineties Supermodel Night Mare Racing Lezcano J 120 —

Won nicely on debut and her only start and certainly looks an above average filly. She looks to have come on from that effort and looks to remain unbeaten here although it can be very tough to follow up a maiden win. An unknown quantity but on her early works looks full of promise.

8 Sitting Pretty Arindel Del-Cid V 120 —

A winner on debut way back in April she has been tested in good grade since and has done well enough to probably call her the form choice for this. She showed plenty of pace to be fourth in the Adirondack and then was ridden back in the Alcibiades to get the trip and made ground into fifth. The draw makes it tough but maybe she will use the wider gate speed push and get up on the speed over this sprint trip.

9 Tenacious Mb Stables Centeno D E 120 —

You can never ignore a juvenile from this stable and this filly won well last time at maiden level. She struggled from wide draws in her first two starts when taken back so the trainer may be looking for the button to send her forward today.

10 Fruit Fly Nakamura Stables Luzzi L J 120 —

Gets her first really bad draw today but switches back to the dirt to try and get back to winning ways. I think she may struggle from the car park to run her race, but you can never write a horse off from this stable

SUMMARY

The trifecta looks like 2 7 and 8 here but I will be interested to see how Shes Beachy runs from the better draw today and if she is offered at decent odds could be tempted by her.
