1st Confidently In Love, trained by Mb Stables
Third on debut at LAD, she came into this race as a maiden, but with works suggesting she was much better than that, it wasn’t as big a surprise that she won despite starting at 186/1. Kept off the early pace, she cruised up to them and put them away pretty easily in the end, winning by a length from her stable companion.

2nd Beat To The Punch, trained by Mb Stables
The grade two winner on a four timer couldn’t cope with the beaten maiden here, running second, but never looking likely to beat her stable companion. The key here was that the two horses were working almost identically, and if you take into account that there is no class system here at HRP, this result really wasn’t as far fetched as the bookies made it look.

3rd Sweeping Slew, trained by Toppedout
Showed plenty of speed, but was out finished at the end. This was another good effort, though, by a filly that has already more than paid her way.

4th Ambiguity, trained Blushing Meadows
Another that contested the early pace, she didn’t really get home, floudering in the stretch to be fourth.
