1st Story To Tell Mb Stables Davis D

This well tested filly showed again how very little there is between high end races regardless as to whether they are stakes races, overnights or graded stakes. Consistent at every level she won her second race today by coming from off the pace to score by a fairly comfortable length. It is difficult to judge how far she will come on from this as the field wasn’t too deep here but she looks a real honest filly who will be a good benchmark for the stable going into 2021.

2nd Match On A Fire Alydar Stables Stein J

Seemed to run a very similar race as she did in the Miss Grillo on turf but that tends to be how it goes here at HRP with the surface making little difference. Two good efforts now at this level she isn’t the flashiest of workers but seems to have a good engine and with plenty of growing still to do (only 15.1hh) there should be better to come.

Ran much better at this level than she did previously and seems to be heading in the right direction’ Knowing how this stable likes to keep the pressure on their good horses i am pretty sure she will get another chance at some black type.

4th Tall And Fast Arindel Gaffalione T

This filly was on a four timer but the fairly swift first half caught her out as she spent plenty of puff holding the stalk early on. In the end she kept on really well to be beaten just a length showing this grade isn’t going to beyond her ability.
