This was a well deserved come from behind win as never before off any pace has this one been so far behind at the first call but today it brought her the biggest prize of her career so far. The three year olds haven’t had the best season so far but the fact that this one has been very competitive and today beat some older graded stakes winners will bode well for her future and her four year old season.

Drawn wide she did well to get into an early stalk but that effort blunted her finish and in the end after leading at the furlong pole she had to give way to the closer. A fair effort from a filly that has shown plenty of improvement this year.

3rd     Canary For One      Mo Mentum Farm       Van Dyke D

I though this one would have the edge today but the extra weight told today and she couldn’t run the time she ran to win last time. Right in the finish she does seem to lack that big finish but she has been consistent this year and has it all in front of her.

4th       Durr        Our Athletes        Jaramillo E

Looked to be coming with a decisive effort at the furlong pole but was worried out of it in the end in a close finish. Another good effort she too will have plenty of time to pick up these sorts of races.
