1st Grit And Grind Mb Stables Bravo J

Grit And Grind wrote his class all over this race, taking bad luck out of the equation and going into a clear lead at the off and maintaining it all the way for a facile win. The wide gate speed push worked it’s wonders here, and it was pretty much all over after a quarter mile despite a fairly swift early pace in the conditions. The trainer will be looking for a better prize now as this one that is a little over shadowed by some of his stable mates looks to be right back to his best.

2nd Adrenaline Nakamura Stables Jara F

Stalked the leader but never looked in the same race and could only concentrate in winning the race for second. A good effort from this improved three-year-old who was bought for just $5.020 at the end of last year.

3rd Hazardous Mb Stables Davis D

With the two runners it made sense to have one go forward and one go back and whilst he did make up some ground, he was never in with a chance of better than third.

4th Rubbing Is Racing Alydar Stables Marin S

A distant fourth after getting pretty tailed off early on. He came with his usual late run but once again the timing was all wrong and the first three were home and hosed by the time he got going.
