How they ran.
They All Laughed started in ninth place then made steady headway through the field to get up in the final furlong going on to win by a head.
Midwestern Slang started in second then improved position to take the lead going two lengths clear of the field only to be caught in the final furlong to finish second.
Withdrawn broke in third and dropped back to race in fifth dropping five lengths off the pace then ran on strongly getting up top finish third beaten by a length.
Banshee Star started in seventh dropping back to race in ninth, five lengths off the pace then ran on down the home stretch to finish fourth beaten by two lengths.
All Out Blitz started in fifth dropping back to into ninth before running on in the home stretch to finish fifth.
Space Cowboy always in mid pack stayed on to finish sixth.
James Braddock settled near the rear of the field eight lengths off the pace then ran on but no better than his finishing position of seventh beaten by five lengths.
Sabres Aiden settled at the back of the field then ran on past beaten horses to finish eighth.
Atletico lead the field from the off then just went backwards through the field dropping back to finish ninth.
Sky Harbor started in eighth then improved position to race in sixth only to weaken down the home stretch dropping back to finish tenth beaten by seven lengths.
Gifted Freak started in fourth and improved into third at four furlongs only to weaken badly dropping back through the field to finish last of the eleven runners beaten by ten lengths.
Summary of the first three.
They All Laughed looks to have the potential to go all the way to the top as I put in my review he had run well in his last three Stakes races without success so did not come as a surprise that he won here.
Midwestern Slang always up at the front of the runners leading till headed in the final furlong he will win many races if he can just see out the race as now he’s been caught in the final furlong in his last two.
Withdrawn only won a maiden over seven furlongs and since ran in five Stakes races finishing third in his last two but is a mile just that little too far.
