1 Dream Whisperer Mb Stables Bridgmohan S X
She was looking an OK sort last year placing in a couple of ungraded stakes races but that all changed when she took on the grade two Golden Rod in her first drt route. Drawn wide she raced just behind the leaders and then gamely battled her way home to win by a nose. That was her best performance and it was her last and with works that have shown plenty of improvement i suspect a bold showing from this inside draw today.
2 Vamparina Aer Stables Esquivel E
With her best performance coming in the mud when a strong second in the grade two Demoiselle her trainer may be hoping that the rains come especially as she gets a great draw and an in form jockey. She has certainly looked like this sort of trip will suit but has been a little inconsistent both at home and on the track and it may pay to watch her today.
3 More Sport Aml Racing Hernandez B J Jr
Third in the Tempted over a muddy mile last year she has never been out of the first three but has been a shade disappointing after her first three efforts of her five race career. Her works are in the ball park and she has a great draw to work with but she does still have something to prove at this level.
4 Red Lucy The Sidley Stud Ortiz I Jr
Beaten less than a length by Dream Whisperer in the Golden Rod she was flying home from a long way back that day a style of running that she repeated in most of her starts. If she can lay up closer today she could be a real wining chance.
5 Panentheism Smokey Stover Bejarano R
Beaten a nose in the grade one Starlet after two successive wins at overnight level she could be the one here in a tight looking field. Her seasonal debut at ungraded level was a little disappointing but the track was off that day and it may pay to give her the benefit of doubt. Bejarano picks up the ride for a stable in form.
6 Book Of Aggravation Estero Farms Pennington F
Another that comes out of the Golden Rod, she was third beaten under a half length and that followed up the same placing in the grade one Chandelier. She is a real consistent sort who comes from a stable in form and has had the benefit of an easy win this year which will put her in tip top shape.
7 Farrah Express Angelos Stable Bravo J
A hail Mary entry she was claimed from a small race at SUN last time and win would be one of the biggest shock results of the year. Good on the stable for giving it a go but she loos outclassed.
8 Yummy Eggs Drabfantasy Velazquez J R
She is another from the form race for this the Golden Rod but she was a disappointing last in that race and may find it tough to turn around. The advantage she has is two good wins in small ungraded stakes races this year so she is the fittest in the race but she may just be outside this sort of level.
10 Summertime D J C Racing Stables Talamo J
This filly has never been outside the top three and comes from another stable that has shown they have the bullets to win a race like this. A tough sort last year she was a close second in a couple of statebred stakes races and stepped up on those in her first start of the season when winning the Silverbulletday Stakes with some ease. She has always run like she would stay forever and if she goes back from this widish draw she is sure to be flying home at the end.
11 Whispered Mb Stables Beschizza A
Well beaten behind Summertime in the Silverbulletday stakes on seasonal debut her wide draw and less exposed form suggest she may be here to set an honest pace for her stable companion.
SUMMARY
Book Of Aggravation, Panentheism and Dream Whisperer comes form the ‘big three’ stables and must have big chances on their form so far. That would be the easy trifecta but stepping outside the box i think Red Lucy could be a big threat at better odds.
