Three Rivals Meet Again in LAPN Starlet

LAPN Starlet Purse $125,000 For Fillies Three Years Old Foaled In LA.

Delta Downs Racetrack Vinton, Louisiana

Plaisir Insense from Acber Farms has finished in front of Root Canal from Martyparty in her last two starts. Both affairs being state bred stakes races at the Fair Grounds. Obviously, racing luck should be minimalized here with only five horses signed up, but the break from the gate and who’s feeling their oats should be key. Top two obviously hard to separate. Crocodile Kiss from Nakamura Stables was taken at auction for close to thirty thousand and the new trainer has taken enough time to make some adjustments, always a positive sign. With no older fillies and mares signed up, this becomes a perfect spot to test any adjustments made. “Kiss” ran third to the top two in her last start before the barn change, draws a perfect outside slot and should have every chance turn the tables with any improvement.

Of the rest:

Baby K C from Bears Stable is not as accomplished as most of her rivals, but she possesses more speed than anything else showing on paper. Can’t imagine any scenario where she doesn’t establish a clear lead here and after a dominating performance in Ohio, she might be this good.

Captain Chaimura from Asgar has made one start on turf and now shows up here so I am guessing it’s a moon shot because of the field size. It wouldn’t take a Lake Placid type miracle here, but it certainly would take major improvement.
