It isn’t often that I pull for a horse because of the name, but today… The Tepin… it’s one of those rare times that I do. Threshold takes this turf stakes as Sannys Legacy closes from worst-to-first, winning by a neck with an inside move, stopping the clock at 1:33.81 for the flat mile over the Mellon turf course. Wyndham left her entourage at home, but was able to secure the second spot, three-quarters of a length better than Ride with An Edge in third. It was another length to Mean Girl, getting the minor award, and only three lengths covered the field of seven.
