It took this filly a long time to overhaul the rank outsider in the field but as soon as she got going it always looked like she was going to get there. In the end it was a neck that got her home in a performance she thoroughly deserved after two good efforts in similar races. Now with a grade two win to her name the question will be where next for her as her options become limited but with only eight races in her career so far, she could improve into a grade one contender.

2nd Nurse Hatchet D J C Racing Stables Geroux F

The odds monkeys really dislike her as she has finished third and now second in graded stakes at odds of 200/1 and 77/1. She very nearly pulled it off today racing for the lead before extending and going to the front on her own and getting a break on the field. It took the winner the length of the straight to get the better of her and even the odds moneys will have to admit now that she can compete at this level.

3rd Extreme Metal Blazin D Lezcano J

Tracked wide from the gate she could not quicken late and ended up a one paced third. She has struggled a little after her Providencia win to find that running style that worked so well for her that day, but she continues to be competitive at this level.

4th Exulted Rene TwinTowersRacing Gaffalione T

A little out classed in the end she just whacked away for fourth in the end and probably needs a bit more time to be competitive at this level.
