The gelding came from mid-pack to win by ½ length in near track record time in a dramatic finish that saw Island Drumbeat come from off the pace to take second and favorite On Fire come from sixth to get third just a length back.

5 Kylo Ren (Luz International) Another closer, could do no better than fifth.
6 Brooklyn (Winning Link Stables) Trailed most of the way by as many as eleven at one point, got up for sixth.
7 Buccaneers Bounty (Nakamura Stables) Lost ground after stalking the pace to finish seventh.
8 Lumpenproletarian (Jerry Garcia Racing) Close early, outrun late to finish eighth.
9 Nevada Lee (Nakamura Stables) Close early, outrun late to finish ninth.
10 Iceberg Slim (Fractious) Never a factor.
11 Kentucky Pharoah (Arindel) Never a factor
