The stable is probably one of the most under rated players in the game of HRP because i don’t know how many times i have said it but when one of their horses is in the race it doesn’t matter if it looks to have no chance they always find a way to run their heart out. This horse has run over just about every distance and surface there is winning the Iowa Oaks last time as an outsider which was her first win beyond overnight level. Today she started at 8/1 and ran the perfect race to beat some of the best three year old sprinters around and book a spot at the big dance in November. I still have no idea what her best trip is but i think we can safely say she is a bit better on dirt at least.
2nd Main Flirt Mb Stables Franco M
When you compare the form of the winner and runner up you are left wondering how on earth you are meant to pick a winner at HRP. Better form, a faster worker the only difference here was a wider draw made this one start a bit sluggish and she left herself far too much to do to get hold of the winner in the end. This was a good effort but like the winner i find it impossible to predict what her best trip is.
3rd Bronze Freak Asgar Hernandez R M
Did really well considering her car park draw made her work plenty hard enough early on to get a decent position. She was entitled to be tired at the end and was but still stuck on for third which was a great effort. Again i am at a quandary to suggest her best trip but she continues to run really well at all levels and over most trips.
4th Spearmint Rhino Arindel Ferrer J C
A deep closer in er last two starts she was turned into a front runner today so set herself up a little for the closers. She stuck on OK for fourth but needs to find something in between trail and lead to bring out her best.
