$125.000 for Two-Year-Olds bred in ON
5 ½ Furlongs Dirt
With only four entrants, this race is pretty wide open for some two-year-old to make the step up to stakes level. The only maiden in the field is Chilly Charley who draws the inside post. On the outside, Out On A Limb broke his maiden in come from behind fashion at CD. Then there’s Road To Glory who has a first and a second in two starts and broke his maiden here at WO. These two are my picks, but I wouldn’t count out Christmas Rainbow with an impressive win last out also over this surface. Should be exciting.
1 Chilly Charley
Owner: Asgar
Breeder: Team 7 Illusions
This son of Chief Charley has one start to his credit, a maiden special weight at BTP where he tied for 6th in a 7 horse field. May fair better in ON-bred company, but I think I’ll pass on this one.
2 Christmas Rainbow
Owner: Yankee Doodle Stable
Breeder: Lemax Farms
Broke his maiden second out in ON-bred maiden claiming company at WO. Has been working well at MNR. Has a win over this track. Could be there at the wire.
3 Road To Glory
Owner/Breeder: Mb Stables
With two starts under his belt and a win here at WO to break his maiden in the mud, this Iron Kaki gelding will make Out On A Limb work for a win – and may even be there first.
4 Out On A Limb
Owner: Smokey Stover
Breeder: Team 7 Illusions
Another impressive two-year-old, this colt also broke his maiden last out in $75.000 maiden claiming company. Also working very well. This one is my pick to take home the money.
