What’s better than $14.000 claimers running with graded stakes horses, fourteen of them at FG?  Let it rain, make the track turn up sloppy… NOW, you got something special.  When the dust mud settled, Angelos Stable’s Ubiquitous, second favored at 6/1 odds, skipped away late to win the CC Jewel by two widening lengths, coving the mile and an eighth in 1:53.80 over the sloppy main track.  Nakamura Stables’ Everything For Sale closed well to grab the second spot, a neck better than Public Information, a 52/1 longshot, in third.  Juicetafson, another longshot at 22/1 was fourth.  Fourteen lengths covered the field.
