1st Super Jack, trained by Gdp Inc
The favorite got the money in here but he definitely had to work for the win. He came into this race off a second place finish in the grade one Clark so he definitely had a lot of class to back him and he proved that he deserved to be the winner and the favorite. He ran the seven furlongs in 1:21.55 and earned $60.000 for the win.
2nd Curveball, trained by Luz International
Well this horse ran a very big race also after trying to win this race in a front running fashion. He opened up by two lengths early on and was looking very good until right at the line where he got passed in the final strides by a winner. He ran a very big race and it was definitely a winning race most times.
3rd Inevitably, trained by Team 7 Illusions
This horse also ran a pretty good race and he only ended up getting beat by a length. He was in a stalking position in the early parts and kind of just ended up running in the same place as he only made up about a length when it was all said and done. He ran a pretty solid race though.
4th Some Beach, trained by Night Rider Stables
Well I am not sure what this horse was doing because he was sitting close at first and then he dropped back to next to last and then he made another run late to end up finishing fourth in this spot. He did not run that bad of a race but I think he might have had a better race in him.
Summary
This was a very exciting race and it ended up being very close at the end and only a nose ended up separating the top two finishers. The Gdp Inc trained runner Super Jack ran a super good race and got up in the final strides to win this race over Curveball. Congratulations to Super Jack and Gdp Inc.
