AER Stables has found the magic dust !!!!

What a turn round of form this eight year old has had since being bought for $85.000 back in May. Is it possible that he has found some magic formula? After all this horse has run in plenty of turf routes before and never showed anything like the form he has been in since being bought. Its not the adds they have remained the same, its not the surface or the trip so therefore we must assume that instructions are the key although even that looks dubious as he hasnt really changed his pace or running style. Whatever it is Aer has found something and turned this one from an honest sort into a graded stakes winner and it must be said a contender going forward in the very tough turf route ranks.

Congratulations to the trainer and this old fella who must be one of the last autogens still winning stakes races.

2nd Kandy Stripe Maxmillion Farm Maldonado E

This one ran a cracker to be second but didnt need anymore than his trainers name next to his to do that. Maxmillion Farm really is a talented turf spotter and seems to be able to turn just about any horse into a stakes contender. To be fair to this one on its own merits he has been much improved this year and it will be interesting to see where he fits into this stable of turf superstars.

3rd Laggy Lake D J C Racing Stables Velez J I

As if to chime in a changing of the guard this 200/1 shot ran into third to create a huge trifecta. Unable to win a race at overnight level since being bought last summer he ran a career best today to take some very big scalps indeed.

4th Bayou Quartier Invicta Group Llc Prat F

Plodded into fourth and really does look like a shadow of his former self. Maybe his owner will sell him to Aer in a couple of years so he can find his form again. (That was a joke by the way).
