1st Walkin Broomstick, trained by Smokey Stover
The form book played out perfectly in this race with this one despite the outside speed push doing its best to scupper the plans. His saving grace was that he only started OK and thus he didnt get shot out in front too soon but not long after the first quarter the AI kicked in and he was sent to the lead. Clear at the half he always looked like holding the challengers and won in the end a shade cosily by three quarters of a length. On the strength of this run and his last work there will more success to come.

2nd Rod Steiger, trained by Asgar
Took the trail off just an average pace and that was his undoing as he ran on far too late in the end. This was another solid race by the busy two year old though and he looks like the sort to make a nice routing three year old.

3rd Happy Place, trained by Mo Mentum Farm
Stalked the lead but just whacked away in the end finishing a well held third.

4th Commanding Roll, trained by Threshold
Took on the winner early on but faded like a wide gate should.
