Lightly raced, he went to the lead and kept on very gamely for second in a solid effort. This was his biggest test so far in a short career, and he looks to have plenty of upside.

We don’t often see closers from this stable and this is probably why as this one could not find the finishing speed to overcome the leaders. His running style is certainly his biggest barrier to winning more races.

4th Nebraska Smokey Stover Gutierrez Mario

Pretty disappointing after looking very promising in the lead up. You would have to use the off track as an excuse and go again next time as I am sure he will end up better than this.
