This trainer loves the NY statebred racing and gets a great chance to take this race with this progressive filly. Lightly raced she has rewarded the trainers patience this year winning three from four with a strong last start win in the Hilltop at PIM. Ideally drawn for her running style she will be a winning chance.

Sauntered home in her maiden but was then thrown in the deep end in the Soaring Softly and was pretty ordinary in finishing seventh. She was entitled to struggle with only the two starts under her belt and this grade may be better for her at this stage of her career. Drawn perfectly and working well she will have a winning chance.
3 Beggars Benison Team 7 Illusions Carmouche K
A daughter of Cherokee Sunset she won her maiden on seasonal debut and hasn’t performed badly in better grade since then. She has been running over longer trips and i think this seven furlongs may be more her trip so she must have a great chance from a good draw.

The stable has been in good form and this one was just a length back in the Hilltop so wouldn’t have to have too much luck to be in the money today. She clearly has ability but i am not sure she is as progressive as a few of the others.

A solid type who is consistent at this level i just worry she lacks that X factor and she may find one or two too good for her here.

You cannot ignore the Nak Factor here and though this filly has never run on turf that can sometimes be a little HRP hack and i wouldn’t be surprised to see her winning at odds. Not bad on the dirt the draw isn’t the best but i still think she will run well.
7 Ete Creek Gdp Inc Ortiz I Jr
Worked well at this trip and on this surface despite only having the one start on turf but with that start being her last one and involving a powerful second in good allowance company i suspect we may be seeing a better filly on the grass. I expect a bold show from her.
8 What To Wear Gustafson Stable Davis D
You cannot knock winning form and whilst this is the first stakes start for the filly she is looking like she is up to it. A very impressive win over the mile last time she has benefited from a change of stable to a more experienced set up and could continue a long line of claimers winning stakes races here at HRP.
9 Win Silly Team 7 Illusions Lezcano J
Kept finding a couple too good in maidens until finally getting home by a nose last time out over this trip. She came from a way back that day so we can assume she will go back from this wide draw and if the pace is strong enough to give the race engine a chance she could run well.
SUMMARY
There are a couple of ‘obvious’ chances here in Intanga Rose and Priorities but i am going to step outside the box to find some value and go for Hollywood Phooey and Ete Creek to fight it out from wide.
