We really start to kick in to both the colts and fillies championship races now and the champion trainer has one runner in the ace draw for this and that could be significant. A winner second up she then ran well in the Rags To Riches running third beaten just length before a decent enough run in the Golden Rod. works recently were Sub 1.11 for 6 furlongs and sub 1.24 for seven and that says she has trained on well and is up to this grade. She will want every yard of this trip but fresh up it should be OK and if she can get into a decent stalk i imagine she will be fighting out the finish.

I like what this filly has done so far and she gets a perfect draw today to lay up a bit closer and give herself a chance of winning. An impressive maiden winner she then ran a super race in the Chandelier to be a closing fourth and then ran a similar race in the Trusty Cat when fifth. She is another that will run further than this but fresh up should find the trip just right.
3 League Of Legends Smokey Stover Cedillo A
Going for four wins in a row she looks a real progressive type and is ready for a challenge like this after toying with lesser opposition. She has a devastating finish but needs things to go right for her to produce it but considering all three of her wins were in faster times than the Chandelier was won in you have to give her a major chance.
4 Strawberry Latte Allinthegate Saez G
A tough and consistent type she tackles a route trip for the first time but has always looked like she would stay a mile plus. A good winner of big ticket maiden she went on to run a solid first race in Allowance company running on like she was needing further. This race comes plenty early enough in her development but she wont be left wanting in the heart department.
5 Super Punch Jediminds Stable Gallardo A A
Took a big ticket maiden claimer and then showed plenty of guts to get up and win the Soviet Problem Stakes. I feel she has plenty of scope and has improved with each race and this trip will be perfect for her. In a very tight race she has as good a chance as any.
6 Close Cousin Night Mare Racing Gonzalez El
Won on debut and was then only beaten a neck by Super Punch in the Soviet Problem last time. Beautifully bred by Distant Sunset i feel she may just have a bit more improvement in her than Super Punch and i do like the way her works have been pointing. A dark horse for me here and may be decent odds for an each way bet.
7 Say Bye Bye Arindel Jaramillo E
Well this stable can certainly do no wrong at the moment and this is an experienced filly who is proven form for this race. After winning three in a row she then took on the Frizette where she closed well from a horrible draw t be beaten just a length into fourth. Her last start in the Golden Rod she again finished strongly this time just a half length behind at the line when second. Her works since haven’t shown much improvement but she wont need to improve much to be a real good chance to win this.
8 Late Night Lady Crocker Ggs Saez L
It is not very often the trainer has two in a race like this but they aren’t getting the favors the bigger stables tend to get from the draw monster and finds them both wide in the draw.The winner of two from four she finds herself in her first route race and her first stakes race so needs to find a bit to win on bare form. Her works are good enough so with some luck in running she could well be in it at the end.
9 Zin Rock Creek Gutierrez Mario
A consistent sort at overnight level she gets her chance to step up today but finds a tough gate in a tough race to do it in. Already claimed twice in her short career she will either make a couple of grown men cry today and one very happy or be back at overnight level next time.
10 Excellent Meeting Fractious Velazquez J R
Terrible in the mud on debut but super impressive next and last time out when cantering home three lengths clear in a big ticket DMR maiden. She gets a rotten draw today but if she can find a spot to run from she could well be a deserved success story for the stable. Her works back up my confidence in her the rest is all up to the race engine.
11 Coup Coup Nancy TwinTowersRacing Davis D
Has been well tried and as yet has not really left her mark. She ran well enough in the FL Sire Stakes My Dear when third but will have to step up again on that effort after a couple of ordinary runs in allowance company. The trainer can make tin look like gold so i would never right one off from here but on the face of it she will find this too tough.
12 Swiss Skydiver Crocker Ggs Gaffalione T
Gets the car park but is good enough to overcome it if things go her way. Won her maiden and allowance at SAR which is a tough thing to do and then showed that to be good form when a close fourth in the Demoiselle. Drawn in and she would be among the favorites but out here we are left to rely on more than her ability making her a risky betting proposition.
SUMMARY
A very tough race to settle on one horse but i am going for Excellent Meeting here in an effort to find some value. The obvious choice would be Say Bye Bye who is certain to be in at the finish.
