He lived up to his name with a half-length win here and has the look of one of those seven-furlong specialists although the way he won this I wouldn’t be surprised if the trainer had a go at a TC qualifier next. Traveling around mid-pack he was never too far back and ran on very nicely through the final furlong for a handy win.

2nd = Soho Jackson Allinthegate Jaramillo E

I thought for a moment my tip for an outsider had paid off but, in the end, he was run down into a game second place. Always on the pace, this was a solid sprinting effort, and he does look to have a good future in this role.

2nd = Food Man Williams9 Rodriguez A R

As you would expect of a runner from this stable, he was sent to the pace and looked to have caught a winning break heading into the stretch. The pace was solid though and, in the end, he could not hold the winners finish and had to settle for a game share of second.

4th Bad For Your Health Mb Stables Lopez P

This was a decent effort in only his second start, and he is clearly a decent sort. His conformation may limit him a little, but he can only get better from here.
