Superior Palace from Mb Stables comes into this wide open two-year-old scramble looking like the horse to beat. “Palace” has routed in his last two and will not be short. He also does not need to be placed as far back as first glance would have you think. Quad Eights from Maxmillion Farm has been gelded and now goes two turns for the initial time. Any improvement puts him squarely in the hunt. Resounding from Chili King Stables has been effective in all four lifetime starts without winning. Should be considered on the stretch out for a barn having a tough season at six percent winners.

Of the rest:

Off To Shepton from Asgar is another maiden here that has possibilities. “Shepton” ran well enough in his last to suggest two turns might be his thing. Now goes turf to dirt and might come calling late.

Perfect Heist from Big Guns Stables is a tricky read. He found open stakes company too tough when going long in his last and never got into position to really strike. He went wire to wire when breaking his maiden. Conflicting info for sure.

Healthy Choices from Mb Stables draws the rail, has gas and would certainly appear to be in a spot to send, given his stablemates style today. If he takes to the long game, he might just forget to stop.

Getaway from Maxmillion Farm is the total surprise package here. One race, gelded and now two turns. Anybody’s guess.
