Will Chase The Money Take the Cash in The Iroquois?

1 Line Of Flight D J C Racing Stables Husbands P 124 —

Raced on speed to win a very competitive open allowance on this track last time and gets a much better draw today so must be competitive. Taking out her runs over longer trips she has a good record over the shorter trips but has found it hard to break through at this level in the past. Top three for sure and could win.

2 So Blitz Asgar Prat F 124 —

The sort of solid mare you expect from this under rated stable she worked very well last time suggesting she could be on the verge of a winning performance today. Consistent enough she doesn’t win too often and may be a bit one paced when faced with a finish although its more than likely her late closing style which has led to less wins than she deserves. Timing is everything with these types, but a small field gives her every chance.

3 Dime Type Asgar Jimenez A 124 —

Similar in many ways to her stable mate, she worked a very similar time on the SA track so it would be hard to choose between the two. She also tends to get back a bit so the trainer may look to play around with the gaming buttons to give one of the two their best chance.

4 Neon Terra First Flight Stable Lezcano J 121 —

A really progressive three-year-old, it is hard to fault her short record of two wins from three starts, but this is her acid test today and she may prove good enough. Bought from the selective sale when the previous owner left, she took a nice race at SAR to pay back the investment and will look to build on the profits today.

5 Chase The Money Avenue Z Elliott S 126 —

Closed hard to take a fine second in the Princess Rooney last time, she has been very good this year and may have found a nice race to win her seventh today. Certainly, the form horse, she will just need things to go her way when she launches her challenge from this sticky.

6 Atomic Fury Xcel Racing Ortiz J L 123 —

Twice a stakes winner this year, the three-year-old gets a tough ride in this race today with a penalty and the wide gate. She is certainly a classy filly, but the race conditions do not suit her here and if she were to win her best chance may come from getting an easy lead with some wide gate speed push and catching the closers napping.

SUMMARY

I just about give this one to Chase the Money although every runner is right in this with a chance. The two Asgar runners may close out the trifecta.
