A consistent mare who is pretty versatile having placed on both surfaces and both sprinting and routing at this sort of level. She tends to lack a finish so i am guessing there will be some tactics to try and help with that and if she gets some breaks she would certainly be involved in the finish.

A real work horse and consistent with it she gets a great chance today to add some black type to her record. Probably best coming from behind so she may be suited by a strong pace.

3    Very Brady     Maletto       Landeros C

Another mare that always tries she gets a penalty today for a small stakes win and that may prove tough in an even field.

4   Round House      Pan Farms      Geroux F

The trainer took some time out but i think we all know they don’t send horses to the races for second place. The class of the race going on her two year old form she has had two starts to get some fitness and may be ready to strike.

SUMMARY

Three solid triers and one full of potential, this has the makings of an interesting race. Small fields like this often turn out to be a tactical affair and i suspect there will be at least one stable here that see’s an opportunity for a Proud Eights sort of run. Round House would win if back to her best but i doubt if there will be much over them at the end.
