Works aren’t great which is worrying but on form he is in it.

Taken out of a turf route claimer and switched straight away to dirt sprinting where his form has been very solid winning last time and finishing second in the LA Cup Sprint before that. Doesn’t face any three year olds here so could well be the favorite to win this from the perfect draw.

3 Orange Star Allinthegate Beschizza A

You have to like a horse that is out working the field by a fair margin. He has struggled a little to win taking just two from seventeen but he has been running well enough to have a live chance.

4 American Life Luz International Pedroza Mar

Gets a 2Lb penalty which may be too hard to overcome with the outside draw to deal with as well. Beaten and claimed in a $16 race last time his trainer switches him back to dirt sprinting here to try and find a few lengths.

SUMMARY

I am just favoring Orange Star over Shirakawago in this little event.
