I had the exacta, as cold as the other side of the pillow… of course, at $7.80, so did everyone else!   Atomic Fury makes her first start since moving over to Xcel Racing and goes wire to wire, dominating Sunday’s NY Stallion Series – Park Avenue.  The final margin was two lengths but look more than that to me as the bay filly covered the six and a half furlongs in a snappy 1:15.44 over the Fast main oval, here at AQU.  That was the third lifetime win for the 3yo, and her first score on the season.  Congrats to the Connections!

Gigafemme from the Big Guns Stables chased the winner most of the way around, but just could not get close enough to make a fight out of it, taking the second spot and bouncing back from a couple of off-the-board starts vs. open stakes types. 

Another length back, Fractions from the Threshold outfit secured the show money, a half length better than Angelos Stable’s Vital Speed, the post time favorite, in fourth.  Six lengths covered the field of six.
