Dawning Ice Age Lights Up the Board in QE II Challenge Cup
We had the right trainer for the QE II Challenge Cup, and in the end this would be a great race for Maxmillion Farm. He would have to settle for third with My Girl Makita, but I am sure he does not mind that after Dawning Ice Age picked up the impressive win with a change of recent tactics.
Arrr! What a Finish in Flower Bowl for Pirate Petranella!
While the Frizette might have been more difficult to predict, we were a headbob away from picking the entire superfecta in the Flower Bowl. This race for older females goes a long way in determining who will be in the BC Fillies and Mares Turf next month, and it would be a thriller.
Eclipse Possible in The Hill Prince
On Monday, the Hill Prince will be run at BEL, though for a reduced purse. An eighth of a mile is also cut from the distance, making the race not look much like the previous editions.
