Well, we both had Zalinda in the mix and the ol’ gray mare is exactly what we expected… tough as nails.  The Threshold owned 7yo closed well down the center of the track to take the Hillsborough Stakes (GII) by a length, stopping the timer at 1:45.40 for the mile and an eighth over the firm lawn, here at TAM.  Post-time favorite Mon Dieu just held off On Solid Ground for the place, then three lengths back to Demanding Commander in fourth.  Five lengths covered the field of six.
