Not a great weekend for the COZMAN… almost like I’m asleep. Mainly because I haven’t had much of that. Still, we will get it done.

We look at a small field of five NM-bred fillies set to go a mile and a sixteenth in the NM Breeders Oaks. Where the ground looks like Mars, I’ll take Street Rain as my top selection. She had her three-race win streak snapped last out vs. similar, over this surface… and despite the 2-pound impost for that stakes win at ZIA, I still think she rules this group and gets the win.

Another that deserves a look is Buoyant Force… that one was picked up at a $12.500 claimer and paid immediate dividends taking down an Alw race, over this track. No reason not to think she’s this type of horse and should be right in the thick of things.
