Class and current form came together here as this five-year-old lasted home after making all the running. We are used to seeing Mb Stables use the race engine perfectly and once again pace held on even though the 22 flat opening quarter was dangerous territory. This five-year-old has now won ten of her twenty-eight races and takes her winning total over the $1,000.00 mark. She looks to be as good as ever and will be looking for a place in the BC Ladies Sprint in the coming months.         

2nd       Hunt The Stars             John Henry      Corrales G       1:09.10

Despite the fast pace the first two home were the first two for the entire race. There’s plenty of upside with this consistent four-year-old who will only get better and she certainly looks the type that may take the next step as she approaches that magic age of five.            

3rd        Chase The Money       Avenue Z           Geroux F           1:09.15

I thought she may have got it right here as they went hard early and she settled back but timing runs on this race engine can sometimes prove a challenge for our virtual jockeys and she came up short. Now a six-year-old she has been a faithful servant and will no doubt keep her consistency until it is time to go to the paddocks.       

4th        Thousand Hours          Mb Stables      Gaffalione T    1:09.23             

This just seems to be one of those fillies that it is just so hard to get a handle on. She again closed well enough for fourth, but she has been like that over pretty much every trip and it just seems she is not suited by this engine. She has talent and time so maybe she will come good when the master has worked out her kinks.
