P C Police keeps his great Threshold form going with his first stakes win under Stu’s colours. Since being claimed for $25.00 back in August, he hit the board in every race in which he was placed, and he has won three of his last four, the other being a second in the $110.00 Sophomore Turf at TAM. This time he settled into a stalk about two or three lengths back to the top of the stretch when he unleashed a superior run down the lane to the wire where he won drawing away.

2nd      Ribots Verset                    Mb Stables                *even (HRP) *2-1 (SRF)

Highly regarded favourite, Ribots Verset looked like the winner at the top of the stretch until P C Police hit the afterburners and turned what appeared to be a win for Ribots Verset into a courageous try. It should be said though that this was another nice step along the way for this promising colt.

 3rd      Get My Punch On                 The Sidley Stud         4-1 (HRP) 5-1 (SRF)

Get My Punch On had been progressing nicely toward this race until his closing kick let him down in his last race. However, being trained by a very savvy trainer whatever needed to be done was done and he was entered here, and his closing kick worked nicely today, just a little late as he finished third beaten only a length.

4th      Lost In Translation                Bigchief Stables        4-1 (HRP) 7-2 (SRF)

Lost In Translation came out of the gate swinging, dueled for the lead into the stretch and weakened a little to finish fourth beaten two lengths. Certainly, not a bad performance for a horse that was claimed for $5.00 a year ago.
