–Seven Is Lucky from Mb Stables was our top pick during the preview and got crushed at the windows. He did not disappoint and got up in the shadow of the wire to win with a ferocious stretch drive. Congrats to the winning connections for the big win and for getting their charge to win four straight, certainly not an easy task. Stylish Dime from Maxmillion Farm took a bigger hit at the windows than I saw coming and those punters were correct, as the recent $25 claim did everything but win the race. “Dime” took up the running from the get go and came up only a nose short in an ultra game effort. I am sure we will here more from him in the near future. Jerk Pork from TwinTowers Racing ran another good race today and came from dead last to get up for the third spot in the trifecta with a solid late move. Gatorbyte from Winning Link Stables got pinched back slightly right after the break, but showed grit and moved up under some urging to sit a nice trip a couple lengths back. He didn’t have quite enough to close on the leaders for a trifecta finish, but he ran better than looked and should be watched closely in his next start.

King Luka from Night Rider Stables pushed the pace for a good portion of the race but then tired and fell back to finish 5th.

Penal Hockey Party, also from Maxmillion Farm, was decently supported at the windows, but failed to mount a rally and just circled the oval in 6th place at every call on the afternoon. It appears that father time has caught up with this magnificent seven year old pro.

Dont Ever Try It, also from Night Rider Stables, was unable to find the magic today and was not able to make any real impact.

American Nightmare from DJC Racing Stables was unable to sharpen back up here today on firm ground and ran a forgettable race. I really thought that the firm ground would him him get back on track. No information from the vet report, so we will just have to chalk it up to one of those days.
