Go the front, find a pace that you can run for almost all the race and pray the AI gets the timing wrong with the others. It works most of the time and worked again for the sixth time in this five-year-olds relatively short career. This was her biggest win to date, and she has had to wait a while for it so the trainer who bred her a long time ago will be over the moon she has finally cracked the black type.

Proves trip or surface can mean very little with a lot of horses, as if we needed any more convincing and she ran a great race to end up a close second.  She was taking ground on the winner all the way to the line but never really looked like getting her head in front but in the end had to once again settle for a place.        

3rd        Frozen Mist                    Maxmillion Farm         Asmussen E            1:03.92

Stalked the lead and whacked away at the one pace but was unable to quicken on the off track. A dual grade twice winner this year over this trip and a winner on an off track everything was pointing at this one coming out on top, but it is never as simple as form at HRP.

Stayed on for fourth and looked in need of further today.
