–Blueberry from Luz International took a ton of action at the windows and the punters laying down the money were right on the mark as the five year old won with authority, spanking the Troy cast on Sunday afternoon in upstate New York. Blueberry took over coming down the stretch and came away from them in brilliant fashion, leaving no doubt as to who was superior on the afternoon. Easily his biggest win to date and this victory certainly stamps him as a horse to be reckoned with as the 2026 season continues. Congrats to the winning connections. Because I Want To from Night Rider Stables continues to boost the barns hot streak with recent purchases and claims moving up the ladder. He ran very well today from a tough post and did well to grab second place, nice job by the barn in their preparation here. King Speed Party from Winning Link Stables was our top pick in the preview and unfortunately ran in spots today between calls but did enough for the bronze medal in another overall solid performance. Douda from Spankys Barn found the waters and post here a little tougher than what he faced in Canada last time but was running on well to get the last spot in the superfecta.

Of The Rest:

Whoa Bo from Maxmillion Farm showed plenty of early gas for a horse that hasn’t sprinted in a while, showing his gameness. He did however look to pay the price late as he tired and ran off the board. All in all, a decent effort by the seven-year-old pro. It will be interesting to see where he shows up next and at what distance.

Lava Man from Mb Stables gunned hard for the lead, went wide into the stretch and called it a day soon after. Not the best ride he has ever received, but just because the plan didn’t work out today doesn’t mean he should be automatically dismissed next time. Watch his placement closely.

Teterboro from Chili King Stables is another runner who looked to run in spots between calls today and must be scrutinized correctly. He obviously wants some give in the ground, and he probably wants a touch lesser when he doesn’t get it.

Bayldonite from The Sidley Stud broke flat footed and that pretty much ended his day, as he just didn’t appear to be liking the proceedings and slowly dropped out of contention.

Dimple Vate from Spb Racing got absolutely crushed early at the windows and went off as the favorite, something I could have never imagined. He then showed a ton of zip as expected but succumbed to the competition late and dropped off to last quickly in the drive leaving the bridge jumpers frustrated again at the spa.
