General Belle Dominates in Miss Grillo

The Miss Grillo – Grade III
1 1/16 Mile Turf Stake Purse $200.00 Filly 2 Year Olds.

1st General Belle, trained by Mb Stables
Of course she took to turf like a duck to water, why did i ever consdier it a negative. Taking up the perfect position she never really looked in trouble, cruising up to the leaders and sweeping by for a comprehensive one length win. Yet another lovely looking two year old for the stable that seems to own a vast majority of them one would expect her to take the turf route towards the BC now.

2nd Tightness, trained by Easymoney Stables
Ran a nice race but was no match for the winner staying on to beat the rest. This run certainly backs up her easy maiden win last time but i dont see there is anyway she can turn the table on the winner in the future.

3rd Bottom Line, trained by Night Mare Racing
Did well enough from her horrible draw keeping on for a close third. A better draw wouldve certainly helped but she was strangely restrained from the wide gate speed push which may have ultimately cost her the win as she looked a better filly from closer to the pace in her last two starts.

4th Cape Velvet, trained by Sheffler Stables
Looked to be going well when she hit the front but could not see it through weakening into fourth in the end.

SUMMARY
This win looked on the cards and everything went smoothy for the winner.
