A Blanket Finish Sees Mucho Win by a Nose

 Spring Fever Stakes
6 Furlongs Dirt Stake Purse $100.000 Filly & Mare 4 Year Olds And Up Foaled In CA.

1st Mucho Mucho Wild, trained by Hambletonian Stable
Broke fast with the outside speed push and led all the way before digging deep and holding on for a nose win. This was a good result for the consistent filly but once again shows the lack of differentiation between races as she was fairly easily beaten into fourth in a TP Allowance last time.

2nd Capella Rising, trained by Stone Creek Farm
Stalked the lead and tried very hard to get passed the tenacious winner but just failed by a nose in the end. A good effort after winning a claimer last time proving she is much better than claiming grade.

3rd Hidden Cabal, trained by Stone Creek Farm
Tried hard closing under pressure right down the stretch but failed by two noses to grab the win. A consistent sort who looks effective at this level.

4th Konfident Kitty, trained by Allinthegate
Only beaten a half length in a blanket finish she had to settle for fourth, Not a bad first effort in black type company.

SUMMARY
Two lengths between first and last pretty much sums up this race it was always going to be close and a different day would bring a different result.
