A One settled in mid pack, five lengths off the pace, then made steady headway to take up the lead in the final furlong, going on to win by half a length from Carneyman with Surprising a further length back in third. The winner is owned by Eastern Equine.

How they ran.

A One started in seventh, five lengths off the pace, made steady headway to take up the lead in the final furlong to win by half a length.

Carneyman close up early racing in second, improved to take up the lead on the home turn going on by a length and a half, caught and passed in the final furlong to finish second.

Surprising settled near the rear of the field, six lengths off the pace, ran on strongly down the home stretch to finish third, beaten by a length.

Port On The Horizon raced in mid pack, four lengths off the pace, ran on down the home stretch getting up to finish fourth, beaten by two lengths.

Muscle Shoals started and raced in third, stayed on at one pace, dropping back to finish fifth, beaten by three lengths.

Salt Lake City started and raced in fourth, weakened down the home stretch dropping back to finish sixth, beaten by four lengths.

Zombie Tomb Raider led the field for the first six furlongs, just weakened after that, dropping back to finish seventh, beaten by four lengths.

Bombastic Thought always near the rear of the field, started in eighth and finished there, beaten by four lengths.

Stormy Bello started at the rear of the field, nine lengths off the pace, ran on to finish ninth, beaten by five lengths.

Democrat Politician never in the race, started in tenth and finish there, dead heating with Gentile Il Buono.

Gentile Il Buono started and raced in fifth for four furlongs, just weakened after that dropping back through the field to dead heat for tenth.

Blue Eight never in the race, started in eleventh, finished last of the twelve runners, beaten by six lengths.
