Bounce back stories are always great and I think Ags Racingfarms deserves a bit of cred for staying after Ags Cherokee.  He had a three race form that was forgettable, but they stuck by their turf sprint guns and it’s paid off as the bay gelding took the opening stakes here in Lexington with a half-length victory in the Palisades Turf Sprint.  The speedster finished the five and a half furlongs in 1:022 on a lush course listed as fast. Post time favorite Mr Orange was second, a neck better than Insist On Time in third and Ransom Hack finished fourth.

Ags Cherokee is a 3yo bay gelded son of Coin Flip – Snowbird, by el Gran la Maison, and he was bred in Tex by Gordo Inc.  Claimed for $12.500, he proven to be a smart tag now showing three wins, two of those stakes scores, and he had pocketed $181.200.  Congratulations to the connections.
