Air Show A G1 Winner Off the Claim

                         The Foster Handicap – GI
                            CD Race 6 1 1/8M – Dirt
                                 Purse $500.000
                          Three Year Olds and Up

1st Air Show, trained by Mb Stables

Right off the claim to a grade one winner. I guess Mb Stables saw something in this horse that interested him enough to claim him and wheel him right back in a grade one. And the claim has obviously paid off because he just won this race easily. He earned $300.000 and ran the race in 1:47.35.

2nd Dr Carson, trained by TwinTowers Racing

If it wasn’t for the post drew he may have won this race. With that outside post position it is almost impossible to win but he almost did that and was very strong to run second. He tried to basically win from right near the lead but just couldn’t manage to do it. A very good run though to finish second.

3rd Corum Jhaelen Irsei, trained by Boomtown

The only three year old in the race and he represented them well to run third in another grade stakes against older. He ran a very good race to run third because I thought he might not be up to running this good in this spot. He will be a very big factor in a three year olds only race if he runs in one next time.

3rd Face Your Fear, trained by Luz International

The runner from Lil Luz ran another very good race to get a dead heat for third because I wouldn’t have thought he would run this big of a race from this post position. He ran really good and looks like he is improving every race. If he keeps improving he will be very tough next race.

Summary

Another very big win of course for Mb Stables and it’s not a shocker of course. This one came right off the claim to a grade one winner in just his first start and is now has an automatic birth into the Breeders Cup Classic. Congratulations to all the connections who finished in the top four.
