Another race, another struggle for my handicapping (non)skills as the Fractious trained Mystery gets home clear by two to take the Grand Prairie Turf Challenge.  The final running time was :56.02, a new stakes record since they shortened this from the one-mile distance that it was for years, and just a tick off of the track record.  Blazing Crown was second, a quarter length better than Settle The Score Vr with the same distance back to Highflyer in fourth. 

Mystery is a black 5yo altered son of Real Fishy – Seven Regiments, by Seven Sevens and he was bred in NY by Wolfs Den.  Acquired by Fractious back in Dec of 2019 for $150.000, in a private purchase, this was his tenth win from thirty-one starts and he now has earnings of $832.890.  Congrats to the Connections!
