Angelic General going close up early then made headway to take up the lead in the home stretch going on to win by a neck from Indian Chief with El Gran George and Oversell It dead heating for third a further nose away in third. The winner is owned by Gdp Inc.

How they ran.

Angelic General settles in fourth from the off then made headway to take up a half-length lead in the home stretch and closed down in the final furlong to hold on by a neck.

Indian Chief started in fifth two lengths off the pace then ran on getting to within a neck of the winner to finish second.

El Gran George broke in second and eased back into fifth then ran on down the home stretch getting up to dead heat for third.

Oversell It started in eighth then ran on strongly getting up to dead heat for third.

Pinnacle West broke in the lead going a length in front then closed down and passed in the home stretch dropping back to finish fifth.

Box Of Rain settled near the rear then ran on strongly making up four and a half-length to finish sixth.

Sqawilther broke in third and improved position into second only to stay on at one pace dropping back through the field to finish seventh.

Moon Landing started and raced in tenth then ran on strongly getting up to finish in the pack in eigth beaten by a length.

Roxys Triple Crown race at the rear of the field then ran on to finish ninth.

No Doubt About It started and raced in sixth and stayed on at one pace being passed by the fast finishers dropping back to finish tenth.

Phelps always near the rear of the field finishing eleventh.

Pretty Ghost started in seventh and weakened back to finish last of the twelve runners beaten by two lengths.
