Three Year Olds Fillies

Only a field of five entrants for the Autumn Miss here at Santa Anita going a mile on the turf. Very small field for this one but it is actually a pretty tough race. Let’s take a look at the field.

1. Call Sarah (7-2-1-1 $118.300), trained by First Street Stables

First up here and this filly is coming out of the Kentucky Downs Ladies Sprint where she ran fourth. She was second in a graded stakes race before that. She will be tough in this field I think.

2. Niagra Sunshine (6-4-1-0 $145.000), trained by Jediminds Stable

The only graded stakes winner in the field in the last couple months here and she came from last to first in the Lake George at Saratoga last time. She should get a good trip in here but I think she’ll be closer. She is the horse to beat I think.

3. Lillehammer (9-2-2-2 $143.940), trained by Invicta Group Llc

Another graded stakes winner here and she won that back in May. She has not won since but has been running decent races. She should be pretty tough if she can return to her form of the spring.

4. Anima (10-4-2-1 $111.760), trained by Invicta Group Llc

Second runner from this barn and she won a stake race two races ago. She was sixth in a grade three last time. She could have a good shot if she tuns a big race in here.

5. Czarina (14-5-2-1 $325.080), trained by Two Hearts One Love

Last but not least here and this is a very tough filly. She has ran with some of the best this year and has ran some very respectable races. She will have a pretty good shot if she works out a trip from out here.

Summary

Pretty good field for only having five entered up in here. I think the main two are the two and five with a slight nod to the two just because of her post. Good luck to all in the field.
