I’ve said it a million times… the most beautiful place on Earth…  KEE Racecourse.  The sophomore ladies are on the menu in the Appalachian (GIII), and it’s a loaded field of ten set to go a flat mile on the lush lawn, here in Lexington.

Equal weights, I think I’ll look to the rail and take the winner of the FL Oaks (GIII), Influence Seeker.  She’s won two of three starts, and let’s throw out that main track dud in NM… with that out of the way, she’s a beast.  The Big Barn loves the KEE meet and I think this is the horse to beat.

Since we like that one, let’s go right next door and take the runner-up in that GP race, Wild Water Wagon.  She’s the BC Juf F Turf (GI) champ, but hasn’t won since that big victory… still, she’s always around and certainly knows how to bring home a check.  Could she flip the tables on the top choice?  yes… yes she could.  

The theory would say take the third place finisher, Shot Of Summer… and she should be a tough cookie as well… but, I’m going with the lightly raced Pineapple Cupcake for my third selection.  Two wins and two seconds from four starts, fresh off of that China Doll win at SA… I think she’s a real up-and-coming filly, and may upset the apple cart if they are careful.

As you would expect, it’s a loaded field… grab a Blantons and let’s get to the rail for a good one!
