1st Appealing Jewel John Henry Espinoza V

The draw once again was the telling factor in this race as this horse was allowed the perfect trip whilst the outside speed push killed off Royally Bred who had beaten this one last time when the draws and thus the trip were reversed. Today was her day though and you can’t say this consistent filly didn’t deserve the win giving John Henry a one two in the race. She is building a nice little record and whilst she may not be the BC type she is certainly as honest as they come and her trainer wont mind if she keeps running this well in these hundred buck races.

2nd Dodge Challenger John Henry Franco G

This four year old did the job she was meant to do by pushing the pace and the leader all the way and opening up the closer’s finish from her stable companion. This was a sound effort from this tough four year old and i see no reason why she wont carry on making herself a nuisance in these types of races.

3rd Too Much Wisdom Mb Stables Cedillo A

Another good effort from the five year old but after this one paced third she was retired to join the blue blood in the Mb Stables stud farm.

4th Royally Bred High Voltage Rispoli U

The favorite was killed off by the wide gate speed push today running nowhere near her best race even with such a small field. Bothered by Dodge Challenger all the way she couldn’t keep up the gallop and just whacked away for fourth.
