1st Ardetha, trained by Aer Stables

A very nice winner right here. This horse won in very impressive fashion because he closed from dead last to get the win by a nose. He is still improving and now has some derby points so I’m sure he will be pointed to another prep race. He ran the distance in 1:48.80 and earned $60.000 for his win.

2nd Niner So Dreamy, trained by Serenity Stables

Now this horse also ran a very big race and he almost won this race by going gate to wire. He broke in front and decided to just lead the way all the way around the oval and held on until the very last jump. He was just edged out by the winner but he definitely ran a very good race.

3rd Delaware Warrior, trained by Nakamura Stables

And this horse also ran a very good race and he only got beat by a head for the win. He was about midpack early on in the race and then made a very good closing kick to get up for third. He was only beaten a head by the top two so he almost got the win in here.

4th Tongariro, trained by Smokey Stover

Well this horse right here rounded out the superfecta and he was only beaten by three quarters of a length by the winner. This horse sat a kind of stalking trip early on and then made a little bit of a run at the top runners but just couldn’t enough to get the win.

Summary

Well this was very exciting race for sure because only a head separated the top three runners in this field. Ardetha came away with the win by a nose after coming from dead last early on with a very nice closing kick. Congratulations to Ardetha and his trainer Aer Stables on the win.
