1   A Little Influence           Owner: The Sidley Stud                       Baze T C

Has only been on the sod in her last outing at LAD where she faced open Allowance company, and came up short on the soft sod.  In that race she came off the pace to finish third.  He has a few big competition in this race.  Longshot play here..

2   Copper Conduit             Owner: Red Square Stables                  Desormeaux K J

Broke his Maiden at first asking in April at SA.  His next start would be would be in the $250.00 Tremont Stakes at BEL where he finished eighth.  In his third career start he finished off the board going six furlongs against FL Breds.  Owner Red Square Stables is hoping to get this colt going on the sod.  His sire only had 1 win out of 3 starts over the sod, and his dam was never raced.

3   Vim                                Owner: Blushing Meadows                    Ortiz J L

Debuted at SUD for a purse of $1.30 against Maidens.  He finished second by a head.  His next race was four months later at ELP against Maidens for a purse of $29.00 at a 1 1/16 mile on the sod.  He was gelded on 8/27/15.  Definitely worth a look here, but still has some tougher competition in here.

4   Western Ideal                Owner: Night Mare Racing                    Garcia Mar

He made his debut at RET at a mile on the sod.  He came from last to finish second by a quarter length.  This maiden is looking for his first win.  Tough call how he will perform against tougher company.

5  Gotta Own The Light       Owner: Second Chance Farms              Gonzalez San

He mainly has raced against NM Breds.  He debuted in April against NM breds to finish fourth.  Then he went on to win his next race which was against Open Maidens going five furlongs on the dirt course, where he won by ½ length.  His next start would be at RUI going 5 ½ furlongs on the dirt course in the Rio Grande Senor Futurity for a purse of $175.00 where he won by a length.  Not exactly sure why his trainer is taking this 2 time dirt winner to the sod.  Looks sharp!

6   Armor Plate                 Owner: Barcelona Farms                  Gutierrez Mario

Broke his Maiden at second asking at GG against Maidens going five furlongs on the dirt course.  He then shipped up to WO to race in the Victoria Stakes going six furlongs on the sod.  He would come from well off the pace to win this one by ¾ of a length.  He shipped back to the west coast to make his next start in the Grade II Best Pal Stakes going 6 ½ furlongs on the dirt.  He would go on to finish second.  Today he is taking a huge drop in class to fit into this $100.00 Stakes race.  He and only one other entry to have raced at DMR,  Looks much the best.

7   S S Hot Sauce              Owner: First Flight Stable                    Smith M E

He took three tries to earn his Maiden victory.  His Maiden was run at five furlongs on the sod right here at DMR.  He went off as the favorite that day, and he came from off the pace to get up to win by 3 lengths.  Looks great for a second option.
