Foster Scratches Head to SAR for The Suburban
This past Saturday at CD, the rain came and left the Foster muddy, leading to four horses scratching out of the race. For three of them, this meant shipping up to the Spa to share the starting gate with Spankersville in the Grade 2 Suburban.

On Sunday, we were able to look at some talented two year old fillies, who, early in their careers have flashed a lot of potential. It also featured Fractious picking right up where he left off prior to his time away, as his new acquisition, Lady Lobo, earned the victory.

Longshot Manticore Gets It Done in Texas Turf
Prior to the Texas Turf, Manticore had struggled in two out of his three races, making bettors not have much faith in him, and trainer High Voltage hoping that his gelding can run the way he did in the FG Stakes back in February.

Once Again, Wahpekute Sioux Wins The Foster
No one told Mother Nature that there was a BC Classic on the line Saturday in the running of the Grade 1 Foster, as she would mess up the plans of the trainers with steady rain that left CD muddy. This would create four scratches, and did allow Fried Chicken and Sick Boi to come in off of the also eligibles.

Check Out Some Two-Year-Old Fillies in Debutante
The Debutante is one of the first chances for two year old fillies to show if they have what it takes to compete against the best in the division. All twelve runners in this year’s race boast one win, taking between one and three races to do so. A couple ran in the Astoria at the start of the month, but mostly these horses are getting their first taste of running against other winners.

Incredible Field to Take Part in Foster
A spot in the BC Classic will be awarded on Saturday as the Grade 1 Foster will be run at CD. The big prize will be the winner’s share of the $1,000.000 purse, with the added benefit of clinching the coveted spot in the biggest race of the year in November.

Texas Turf Draws a Field of Five
A group of five is set to go to post for the fifth running of the Texas Turf at LS, an ungraded stake with a purse higher than many Grade 3’s. The race was initially run in 2004, but then took a long time before it was carded again, running for the second time in 2022.

Shericka Holds Off Nicolette to Win The DEL Oaks
While the rain made MTH muddy and soft, just a couple hours away at DEL we were fast and firm for the running of the Grade 3 DEL Oaks. The race would see a very close finish at the wire, with Shericka getting the win by a head over second place Nicolette.
